 NC leader Govinda Ranjit dies of coronavirus

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-21 Govinda Ranjit has died of coronavirus.

Ranjit, who was also the chairman of NC Kathmandu Metropolitan City-21 Ward Working Committee, died in the course of treatment this morning, informed Kathmandu Nepali Congress Secretary Raj Kumar Nakarmi.

He had been a candidate for the post of ward chairman in the local level elections held in 2074 BS.

His condition was critical due to coronavirus infection since last few days.
