Coronavirus patient absconds from Bharatpur Hospital’s isolation ward



BHARATPUR: A coronavirus patient has absconded from an isolation ward at the Bharatpur Hospital on Tuesday.

A 19-year-old male from Bharatpur-12 fled from the hospital’s isolation at around 5 am today, according to District Police Office, Chitwan.

He was undergoing treatment at the hospital’s isolation ward since he was brought to the hospital on August 21.

Police had earlier arrested him on theft charge. According to the police, search for the absconding patient is underway.

Bharatpur Hospital’s isolation has currently 68 coronavirus patients.
