KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley reported three new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours.

Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam confirmed the new cases speaking at a regular press briefing on Saturday afternoon.

According to Dr. Gautam, tests at Patan Hospital confirmed two from Kathmandu and one from Lalitpur to have contracted coronavirus.

Likewise, one from Kathmandu tested positive in tests at Star Hospital in Sanepa.

A total of 109 people have been diagnosed with novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours across the country.

The national tally has reached 18,483 with the new cases, Spokesperson Dr. Gautam said.
