Sandeep Lamichhane’s participation in CPL uncertain

KATHMANDU: Nepali cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane’s participation in Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has been uncertain.

Leg spinner Lamichhane has to reach Trinidad and Tobago within a week to play the CPL but his flight ticket has not been fixed yet.

“It has been uncertain whether Lamichhane will play the CPL as his flight ticket has not been uncertain,” said his manager Raman Siwakoti.

He further said Lamichhane has to reach Trinidad and Tobago by August 2.  Siwakoti is the video analyst of the Nepali Cricket Team.

Lamichhane has signed a contract with Jamaica Tallawahs. Jamaica Tallawahs selected Lamichhane in the second round for the season of Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020.

According to espncricinfo.com, Lamichhane signed a contract with Jamaica Tallawahs for around US$130,000.
