Jailbird dies in Birgunj



BIRGUNJ: A prisoner languishing in Birgunj prison in a fraud case has died on Wednesday.

According to the prison management office, Basir Alam, 63, charged on hoax case died last evening.

The office stated that Alam, an inhabitant of Birgunj Metropolitan City 2, was in the jail for the last four months.

According to the jail management, he was a diabetic, and high blood pressure patient.

His body has been sent to the Narayani Hospital for post-mortem.
