Lightning kills two women in Hetauda



HETAUDA: Two women died in Hetauda after being hit by lightning coupled with incessant rainfall on Thursday.

The deceased are Samjhana Ghising, 17, and Bina Ghising, 25, from Makwanpur Bakaiya Rural Municipality-2, according to police.

Samjhana died on the spot while Bina breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Dovan Health Post, according to District Police Office, Makwanpur.

Likewise, Kiran Jumba, 14, from the same locality was injured in the lightning. He has been receiving treatment at a local health post.
