COVID-19 patients clean up wards at Narayani Hospital

BIRGUNJ: Some coronavirus patients undergoing treatment at the Narayani Hospital in Birgunj have cleaned up the wards alleging the hospital administration for not maintaining cleanliness.

The Narayani Hospital’s gynecology ward has been converted into an isolation ward where 23 patients have been kept.

The patients have complained that the hospital staff do not visit their ward ever since they have been admitted to the hospital.

According to them, they decided to clean up the ward, including the toilets, passage, and bathrooms on their own as the administration paid no heed to their request.
