NC office-bearers’ meet underway



KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) office-bearers’ is underway at the party central office Sanepa, Lalitpur.

The meeting is discussing the bill to amend the Nepal’s constitution (second amendment) – 2077 BS registered by the government in the Federal Parliament, a party leader said.

The bill is aimed to adjust a new political map of Nepal published by the government in Nepal’s Coat of Arms featured in the Constitution’s Schedule 3.

Likewise, the meeting will also discuss the current COVID-19 crisis in the country, NC office chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel said.

The NC will also review government efforts for the prevention and control of COVID-19 and party’s contribution towards that end.
