Inmates clash at Dilli Bazaar Jail



KATHMANDU: A clash broke out among inmates of Dilli Bazaar Jail in Kathmandu on Sunday.

Metropolitan Police Spokesperson DSP Raj Kumar KC confirmed that the clash erupted.

He said, “Police have reached the spot now. The cause of the clash is being investigated.”

According to him, the situation is now under control.

A prison source said that there was a clash over the issue of changing the guard.

Police said that further investigation is underway into the cause of the clash.
