One person injured in scuffle dies



RAJBIRAJ: A person injured in a scuffle over land dispute in Mahadeva rural municipality has died.

The deceased has been identified as Subi Lal Yadav,80, of ward no. 1 in the rural municipality, according to Superintendent of Police Krishna Prasain.

The scuffle had taken place with his neighbors over a land dispute on April 25.

Yadav had sustained injuries to his head and legs and was admitted to the Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, Rajbiraj. He was discharged from the hospital and was under medication at home.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, while a search is taking place to nab those behind the assault, police said. RSS
