Nepalis in India to return from Pashupatinagar border point from Sunday



ILAM: Nepal is preparing to welcome the returnees from India back home from Ilam’s Pashupatinagar from Sunday.

Pema Ugen Lama, the corona focal person of Suryodaya Municipality informed that they have made preparation to let 200 Nepalis return from India on Sunday.

According to him, the arrangement is made for the Nepalis heading back home on Saturday.

According to him, the Nepalis who had been to Sukiya, Darjeeling, Mirik for a job and are stranded over there will be kept in Suryodaya Municipality’s Karfok based Holding Area. There is an arrangement for 400 in Karfok.

All Nepalis entering Nepal will get their RDT tested. However, all the inhabitants of Province 1 entering from there will get their swab tested through the PCR method.

According to Safal Portel, the information officer at District Administration Office Ilam, once the people are kept in Holding Area, the district administration office of the concerned districts will be contacted for the facilitation of the returnees’ return.

According to the list provided by the Indian authority, there are people from various districts including Dolakha, Ramechhap, Tehrathum.
