KATHMANDU: Three Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of Nepal Police have been promoted to Additional Inspector Generals (AIGs).

A meeting of Council of Ministers on Sunday promoted DIGs Tarnini Dutta Lamshal, Shailesh Thapa Chhetri and Hari Bahadur Pal to AIGs.

A meeting of Promotion Recommendation Committee on February 27 had decided to recommend their names for promotion.
