KATHMANDU: The Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) has directed telephone service provider companies to provide a cent percent bonus to customers on recharge.

A meeting of NTA held on Tuesday directed the operators to provide a bonus and a loan up to Rs 200 without any service charge.

The decision comes in the wake of a nation-wide weeklong lockdown enforced by the government over a fear of the COVID-19 outbreak.
