Mahabir Pun seeking tailors for PPE

KATHMANDU: Social campaigner and scientist Mahabir Pun has initiated efforts to prepare the Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), the most safety kit for the health workers combating against COVID-19.

Confirming the news, Pun requested the people skilled at tailoring PPE to come into contact at the earliest.

“Personal Protective Equipment is of special importance for the doctors working against COVID-19,” Pun said, “I have got the order for it from the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital and the Dharan-based BP Hospital.”

In his social status, he has stated that he needs tailors to prepare around 400 pieces of PPE.

“The design of the dress is being prepared in the Invention Center,” he has said in the message.
