NEPALGUNJ: 300 Nepalis kept in the temporary quarantine made in Mahendra Multiple Campus, Nepalgunj have fled from the site recently.

Heading towards home from India, a large group of people who entered Nepal from Jumanaha checkpoint Nepalgunj were kept in the temporary quarantine on Monday.

After the incident, the meeting of the Banke District Security Committee has decided to be more vigilant to find out their whereabouts.

There are only 200 people left in the quarantine now.

Nepalgunj itself is sans movement after the declaration of lockdown. There are no vehicles in the streets. Few pedestrians confused about the lockdown were sent back home by the security forces monitoring the closure.
