NC to launch nationwide agitation against government (with video)

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress, the main opposition party, has decided to launch a nationwide agitation against KP Oli-led government to protest the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) from December 28.

A meeting of the NC Central Working Committee held at the party central office in Sanepa on Thursday decided to organize protest programs in all 165 constituencies across the country.

NC has termed the dissolution of the HoR “unconstitutional and undemocratic”.

General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka said that the party would hold protests across the country against the “unconstitutional” move of the government.

Prime Minister KP Oli had dissolved the House of Representatives Sunday.

Meanwhile, a meeting of central members close to senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel’s had earlier decided to launch agitation against the government’s decision.
