Prachanda-Madhav faction to visit SC, Election Commission on Friday



KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee meeting of the Prachanda-Madhav faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has decided to visit the Supreme Court (SC) and the Election Commission on Friday.

A meeting held at a banquet in Babarmahal on Thursday decided to go to the apex court at 10 am and the Election Commission at 12 noon tomorrow, said leader Bhim Acharya.

A writ petition filed at the apex court against the dissolution of the Parliament is being heard in the Constitutional Bench on Friday.

The Prachanda Madhav faction could not decide on the post of General Secretary on Thursday, it is reported.
