KATHMANDU: A team deployed from the Department of Foreign Employment has raided Hope International Pvt. Ltd based in Lazimpat, a manpower agency recruiting migrant workers.
The team also took under control the passports of various people for foreign employment.
The department raided the agency while it was taking exams of youths illegally saying that it would employ them in Qatar Police.
Police have arrested Hari Bishwakarma for trying to flee with documents.
The monitoring team of the department raided the manpower agency on Tuesday morning.
Similarly, the operator of the manpower agency was found to have used a vehicle of a diplomatic mission. The vehicle is now parked on the premises of the company.
The department also raided DD Human Resources and SOS Manpower Company on Monday and seized documents.
