APF Police Inspector dies of COVID-19



KATHMANDU: A Police Inspector of Armed Police Force (APF), Nabin Budhathoki has died from COVID-19.

Budhathoki succumbed to the virus in the course of treatment at Birat Medical College in Biratnagar on Monday night, informed Raju Rijal, the spokesperson of the APF.

Originally from Tehrathum, Budhathoki had been stationed at No 3 Battalion of APF, Morang.

He had no other diseases except for the coronavirus infection, according to Rijal.

Earlier, he had been deployed in the management and control of the coronavirus infection.
