Lamichhane to attend closed session training before leaving for Australia



KATHMANDU: Nepali leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane is attending a cosed session training of the national cricket players before leaving for Australia.

As many as 22 players have arrived in the capital to partake in the training organized by Cricket Association Nepal (CAN). The CAN is conducting PCR tests on all the partcipants on Tuesday itself.

Nepali leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane signed a contract with Hobart Hurricanes to take part in Big Bash cricket tournament to be held in Australia.

Hurricanes hired Lamichhane following the expiry of his contract with Melbourne.

Lamichhane, who made a debut in Big Bash League in 2018, has already performed twice in the Australian match through Melbourne Stars.

He had claimed 26 wickets in an average of 19.80 in 20 games.
