PM Oli has become a carrier of regression: Dr Bhattarai



KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Federal Council of the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, Dr Baburam Bhattarai has alleged Prime Minister KP Oli of being a “carrier of regression”.

Dr Bhattarai took to Twitter saying, “Personally, Oli is one of my favorite persons. However, national interest has more gravity than personal. Therefore, we cannot always give shoulders to his activities.”

Bhattarai, who has been regularly commenting on PM Oli’s working style lately, has criticized the PM at a time when the ruling Nepal Communist Party’s intra-party dispute is at its peak.

“The major issue is the nation, not a person,” Dr Bhattarai has said.

However, the Oli trend has become a carrier of regression and bad-governance.

Dr Bhattarai also said such issues do not belong to a single party.

“It’s not just an issue of a single party,” he said.
