Dadeldhura records COVID-19 related death



DADELDHURA: The district of Dadeldhura has recorded a death related to coronavirus infection.

A 48-year-old man of Nawadurga rural municipality of the district breathed his last at Dadeldhura Hospital last night.

He had returned home from India some days ago and was taken to the hospital after complaining of respiratory complications.

He was diagnosed with coronavirus infection in India and tested positive for the virus in the laboratory test carried out at Dadeldhura hospital, according to COVID-19 focal person Hari Prasad Bhatta.

This is so far the first death incident from coronavirus infection in the district.

The Dadeldhura-based Garud Daha Brigade Barrack has been approached for the management of the dead body, according to the medical superintendent of the hospital, Jagadish Bista.

With this death toll from coronavirus has surged to 16 in the Sudurpaschim State.
