Two men die of coronavirus at Butwal COVID Hospital



BUTWAL: Two patients have died from coronavirus in the course of treatment at Butwal COVID Hospital in Rupandehi district.

One among the deceased is from Nawalparasi West and the other from Kapilvastu, said the hospital.

Both of them were being treated on ventilator since the last seven days.

A 49-year-old man of Ramgram municipality-3, Nawalparasi West who was admitted to the hospital died at 4 am today. He was also suffering from liver and kidney ailments.

Similarly, a 50-year-old man of Buddhabhumi municipality, Kapilvastu also died at 7 am today. He had been admitted to the hospital on September 17.

The patient was also suffering from diabetes and kidney ailments, said Dr Bishnu Gautam, the information officer for the hospital.
