39-yr-old man dies of COVID-19 at Chitwan Medical College

CHITWAN: A 39-year-old man has died from coronavirus in the course of treatment at Chitwan Medical College in Chitwan district at the wee hours of Thursday.

According to Dr Dayaram Lamsal, the director of the hospital, a coronavirus-infected man succumbed to the disease at 12:55 am today.

Originally from Anbukhaireni municipality-3, Tanahun, the kidney patient had come to the hospital for dialysis on September 14 and the report of his swab sample collected on the same day came positive on September 16.

He had been undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Unit of the hospital since he was diagnosed with the virus.
