India’s COVID-19 cases cross 5.7 million

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has crossed 5.7 million in India until Thursday morning.

With 89,688 cases in the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 5,730,184.

Currently, 967,161 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 4,671,850 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed 91,000.

With 1,152 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 91,173, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus pandemic has killed 981,219 and infected 32,083,266 people globally.
