57 people test COVID-19 positive in Sudurpaschim Province



KAILALI: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 57 more people in Sudurpaschim Province in the last 24 hours.

The cases were confirmed in tests at Dadeldhura Laboratory and Seti Provincial Hospital when 1,106 samples were tested.

Among the confirmed cases are 21 men and 11 women from Kailali, 7 men and 3 women from Kanchanpur, 2 men from Dadeldhura and 19 men and 4 women from Achham.

Similarly, three men, two women from Baitadi, one man from Darchula and two men and one woman from Bajhang have been confirmed infected, said Narendra Singh Karki, Chief of Health Division at the Ministry of Social Development.

So far, 4,377 people have recovered, while 11 infected people have died, he said.
