33 illegal entrants kept in quarantine after arrest



MUGLIN: Armed Police Force (APF) has been intensifying its campaign to arrest those who stealthily sneak into Nepal and keep them in quarantine.

This campaign has been intensified at 3 Number Gadhimai Brigade headquarters of APF, Chitwan.

APF has been arresting and keeping those  who enter Nepal without permission in quarantine in collaboration with the local units, said Brigade Commander DIG  Krishna Bhakta Brahmacharya.

Brahmacharya said two people were arrested from Bandarjhula and have been kept in quarantine. They had entered Nepal from Thori checkpoint, he added.

A police team led by Police Constable Narayan Tharu from the temporary police post based at Bandarjhula  arrested them.

The arrested had been kept in quarantine on June 21.

APF Chitwan arrested a total of 33 people and kept in quarantine as of Tuesday.
