Border outpost established for the first time in Jhulaghat of Baitadi

BAITADI: A Border Outpost (BOP) of the Armed Police Force (APF) has been set up at Jhulaghat in Baitadi on the Nepal-India border for the first time.

Far-Western APF Deputy Inspector General Harishankar Budhathoki inaugurated the BOP on Saturday and said that it would monitor the border.

It is believed that with the establishment of the outpost border surveillance, an increase in revenue collection and control of all kinds of cross border criminal activities will be achieved.

Although the BOP will be headed by the Armed Police Inspector, the team is currently headed by the Armed Police Deputy Inspector.
