Qatar distributes foodstuffs to 5,000 Nepali migrant workers



KATHMANDU: The Qatar government has distributed food stuffs to needy 5,000 Nepali migrant workers in Qatar.

The foodstuffs have been stored at the Nepali Embassy in Doha.

According to Doha-based Nepali Embassy, the foodstuffs will be provided to those needy Nepali migrant workers who come in contact with the Embassy.

Meanwhile, a team has been formed in coordination with the Non Resident Nepali Association, Qatar to systematically distribute the foodstuffs.

A carton containing two kilograms of rice, a half kg lentil, sugar, flour will be distributed to each migrant worker under the program, according to ICC member Ramesh Bhatta.
