Italy reports 25,085 deaths, 187, 327 infection cases



KATHMANDU: Italy, the second worst-hit country in terms of deaths, has reported no deaths in the last 24 hours. The total death toll in the country as reported by Worldometer is 25,085 so far.

The total number of infection cases has reached 187, 327, the third highest in terms of infection cases, after Spain and America.

Currently, 107,699 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 2,384 are critical. Meanwhile, 54,543 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 184,204 and infecting 2,637,414 people as of Thursday morning.
