KATHMANDU: The China government has apologized for neglecting the warning given by Dr Li Wenliang of the coronavirus.

Wenliang was the first doctor who had diagnosed the novel virus for the first time and urged the government to take precaution against it.

However, the China government overlooked Li’s warning and warned of action against him for it, instead, which later went pandemic across the world, claiming the lives of over 14,000 people.

The doctor subsequently got infected with the COVID-19 and lost his life to the deadly virus.

The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) under the ruling Communist Party of China has begged pardon with the doctor’s family for ignoring the warning of the virus.
