NA elections: All results from Province 2 out

JANAKPUR: All the results of the National Assembly (NA) elections held in Province 2 have been made public.

As per the results, all the candidates of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NPC) and Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) coalition got elected in all the four seats.

Shekhar Kumar Singh of RJP-N got elected under the minority category from Province 2.

He defeated Bhola Panjiyar of the Nepali Congress (NC). Singh received 5.502 vote weightage as Panjiyar got 4,212 vote weightage.

Likewise, Tulasa Dahal got elected under the women’s category from the province.

Dahal got 5,208 votes while her closest contestant Nagina Yadav, candidate of Nepali Congress (NC) and Samajwadi Party, received 4,440 votes.

Similarly, Radhe Shyam Paswan got elected under the Dalit category.

Likewise, Mrigendra Singh Yadav got elected to the Upper House garnering 5,400 vote weightage defeating his own brother Anirudra Singh of Samajwadi Party who received 4,512 vote weightage under ‘other’ category.
