NA polls: All 3 NCP candidates victorious from Province 1



BIRATNAGAR: All the three candidates of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) got elected from Province 1 in the National Assembly (NA) elections held on Thursday.

NCP’s candidates Gopi Alchami, Indira Gautam and Devendra Dahal got elected to the Upper House. Alchami got elected under Dalit category and Gautam and Dahal under women and other categories respectively.

Alchami received 6,330 vote weightage as his closest rival Nir Bahadur BK of Nepali Congress (NC) got 2, 7018 vote weightage.

Gautam defeated her closest candidate Mina Pulami Magar of NC. Gautam received 6,422 votes.

Under others’ category, Dahal received 6,234 vote weightage. His closest rival Devendra Ghimire of NC got 2,766 vote weightage.
