KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha has been elected National Assembly (NA) member on Thursday.

Shrestha received 3,462 votes while his closet contester Surya Prasad Regmi of Nepali Congress (NC) got 2,244 votes.

Shrestha got elected to the Upper House under the ‘others’ category from Gandaki Province.
