KATHMANDU: Three Star Club jumped to the third spot in the point tally of the Martyr Memorial ‘A’ Division League defeating Himalayan Sherpa Club 3-1 on Thursday.

Three Star’s Sushil Rai, Sanjog Rai and Wasiu Olandiran Hazmat scored the goal.

Sushil gave an early lead for Three Star scoring in the sixth minute of the game.

Stephane Samir Deiubeni scored a goal for Himalayan Sherpa in the injury time of the first half to level the tally.

Sanjog scored a goal for Three Star in the injury time to give a 2-1 lead. Hazmat netted a goal in the 50th minute of the game.

With the win, Three Star has been placed third in the points table with 14 points from eight matches.
