Kathmandu Valley records 318 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 318 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 250 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 34 in Bhaktapur, and 34 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 743 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,55,979 in the country as of Wednesday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 7,515 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 952 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 2,46,661 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, 5 persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1803.
