Biplav says party ready for talks with govt; seeks clear position



KATHMANDU: Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav, General Secretary of the outlawed Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has said that the party is ready for talks with the government.

In a video interview for an online portal close to his party, Biplav said that it was always open for talks. Biplav accused that the government had made the talks a matter of fraud.

Biplav has admitted that his cadres had opened fire on the Sankhuwasabha a few days ago.

In a separate context, Biplav said that the dispute in the ruling NCP is the result of power interests.
