STC fixes sugar price at Rs 77.20 per kg



KATHMANDU: The Salt Trading Corporation (STC) Limited has set a new price for sugar.

The corporation has recently set a new price of Rs 77.20 per kg for 20,000 metric tons of sugar imported from India.

The corporation which has been operating discounted stores for big festivals like Dashain, Tihar and Chhath, has been providing sugar to consumers at a price of Rs 70 per kg.
