Civil servants barred from teaching at private institues

KATHMANDU: Government officials have been barred from teaching at private institutes.

A meeting of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration on Sunday took a decision to this effect.

With the decision, high-level government officials are not allowed to take public service commission classes run by private institutes either in person or online.

The government took a decision to this effect saying that involvement of incumbent joint secretaries or secretaries in such teaching activities affected service execution and making policies.
