COVID-19 infected CM Poudel airlifted to Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The Chief Minister of Bagmati Province Dor Mani Poudel who had been in home isolation after testing coronavirus positive has been brought to Kathmandu for further treatment.

Chief Minister Poudel had gone a heart surgery recently. CM Poudel and his wife were flown to Kathmandu via Nepal Army’s helicopter.

According to the CM’s Press Coordinator, Prakash Dahal, they are receiving treatment at the Bansbari-based Ganga Lal Hospital and their health condition is normal.

The COVID –19 test result that came out on Thursday had shown CM Poudel, his wife, security personnel, two drivers, and an office assistant coronavirus positive.
