MORANG: Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of Province 1 Himmat Kumar Karki has contracted the coronavirus.
According to his Personal Secretary Ravi Khanal, Minister Karki tested positive for the pandemic on Friday.
Minister Karki, who has been suffering from common cold for the past few days, underwent a swab test based on contact tracing. He is currently living in isolation at his residence in Biratnagar.
Minister Karki’s health is normal, and he has urged everyone in contact with him to be vigilant.
Similarly, Minister Karki’s Personal Secretary Khanal has tested positive for the coronavirus. He is currently living in isolation at his residence in Sunsari, Dharan, and is in normal health condition.
