Chitwan records additional death linked with COVID-19



CHITWAN:  A 57-year-old man infected with COVID-19 has died in the course of treatment at Bharatpur Hospital in Chitwan district.

Originally from Bharatpur Metropolitan City-7, the patient was admitted to the hospital on Thursday night after his condition deteriorated.

He was pronounced dead immediately after his admission to the hospital, said Dr Nitu Adhikari, the chief of COVID-19 laboratory of the hospital.

He had been staying in home isolation since he tested positive for coronavirus on October 12.
