Karnali sees 4 new cases of COVID-19



SURKHET: Karnali Province has reported 4 new cases of coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to Nava Raj Kandel, a Health Education Officer at the Ministry of Social Development in Karnali Province, four swab tests carried out in Province Hospital, Avian Disease Investigation Laboratory and Karnali Health Science Academy Jumla tested positive on Sunday.

Kandel informed that out of the four cases, 2 each are from Surkhet and Jumla districts.

With this the number of coronavirus case in the Province has reached 2,244.

In the meantime, 4 people of Karnali Province have been discharged after recovery on Sunday. The number of discharged cases after recovery has reached 1,973.

As many as 265 people are currently in isolation centers established in different districts in the province.

Karnali has witnessed 6 coronavirus deaths till date.
