BARA: Police have confiscated 40 sacks of chemical fertilizer in Bara allegedly being smuggled into Nepal from India.

The fertilizer was being transported to Nepal on nine motorcycles on Sunday morning, according to Chief District Officer Rudra Prasad Pandit.

Police confiscated the fertilizer from four border points in Simraungadh rural municipality.

The fertilizer will be handed over to Birgunj Customs Office.
