USA reports 968 deaths in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: America, the worst-hit in terms of both deaths and infection cases, has reported 968 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the total to 180,168.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometers, with 43,612 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 5,840,869 so far.

Currently 2,512,968 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across America, of which 16, 739 are critical.

Meanwhile, 3,148,080 have recovered after treatment.
