Girl injured in Kathmandu acid attack



KATHMANDU: In yet another incident of acid attack in the capital, a 22-year-old girl has become the victim of such an attack at Sitapaila on Thursday evening, police have said.

An unidentified person threw acid on her face and body and fled the scene, according to the police.

Police said that further investigation was underway, adding that the girl injured in the attack has been taken to Kirtipur Hospital for treatment.
