Fifth ICT Award to take place

KATHMANDU: The fifth edition of the ICT Award-2020 is taking place this year and the applications for the same have been opened.

The Award is being organised with the objective of promoting and inspiring new information technology.

The Award is being organised by Living With ICT, a magazine about ICT. The application for the same is open till July 31, said Rajan Lamsal, the magazine’s chief editor.

It used to be held in the last week of month of Saun every year. The date for the award ceremony for this year has not yet been fixed due to COVID-19.

Prizes would be given under 11 various themes as Start-up, Product, Pioneer, Nepali Diaspora, Entrepreneur, Media Person, Digital Governance, Digital Education, ICT Award, among others.

Lamsal said two genres – Innovation in Crisis Response and Woman Icon ICT Award – have been added to the Award this year.
