JUMLA: The Karnali Academy of Health Science (KAHS) has begun providing outpatient specialist service by phone to reduce crowding in the hospital.

The hospital initiated the service to facilitate the treatment amid the growing risk of coronavirus infection.

Registrar at the Academy Bishwo Raj Kafle said the service has been started targeting those patients unable to or who need not come to the hospital.

The hospital operated by the Academy is providing outpatient, emergency and surgery services.

Neuro specialist Dr Pujan Kumar Rokaya said doctors will provide special services through mobile phone from 8am to 12am every day.
