Jhapa’s academic institutions begin distant learning

BIRTAMOD: Several Jhapa-based academic institutions have started distant learning when schools and colleges have remained closed due to lockdown against the coronavirus pandemic.

Suresh Kumar Chapagain, campus chief of Kankai Adardha Campus, Birtamod, said that as students are staying at home due to lockdown, they have decided to start distant education to keep them busy in learning activities.

The campus is starting distance learning targeting MBS first semester students from Thursday.

Likewise, classes for other students will also begin after analyzing the given situation.

According to Chapagain, four teachers will take the classes in morning and evening.

Likewise, Bhadrapur 10-based Vibhuti Bidhya Mandir has already launched teaching activities through a videoconferencing method.

Likewise, private and community schools in Bhadrapur, Birtamod, Shibasatakshi, and Damak are taking School Education Exam (SEE) preparation classes and other classes through distant education method.
