KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli on Sunday met with President Bidhya Devi Bhandari at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas.

The meeting between President Bhandari and PM Oli basically dwelt on the current situation at a time when the government has announced a partial lockdown for two weeks beginning today.

The meeting has also been considered crucial as PM Oli has called a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Sunday — first time after he underwent kidney transplant.

The cabinet meeting, sources claimed, is likely to take stock of the situation at a time when the government has announced a partial lockdown for two weeks beginning today.

PM Oli had on Friday announced the decision to this effect.

Meanwhile sources have claimed that the cabinet meeting is likely to make a few more decisions to combat a possible outbreak of coronavirus epidemic in the country.

It should be noted that all offices except those providing emergency services have been closed from today till April 3 in this regard.
